Last week, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket received an update that added trading to the game. However, it left a lot to be desired.

The main reason fans are unhappy is the need for tokens to trade. The main point of contention with players is that the tokens are hard to earn and push people into needing to spend real-world cash to trade. Now, the developer has responded and says they are looking for ways to fix and address the issues. They said thegoal was to balance the game while maintaining a fair environment for all players.” And said that they were trying to stop bots from getting an unfair advantage, before continuing with:

“Thanks to your feedback, we understand that some of the restrictions put in place are preventing players from being able to casually enjoy the feature as intended. We are actively investigating ways to improve the feature to address these concerns. Going forward, we also plan to offer multiple ways to obtain trade tokens, including through event distributions.”
