Let’s look at the Australian Box Office results from Thu, 8th May 2025 – Wed, 14th May 2025.

Heading into its third week, Marvel’s Thunderbolts* has now surpassed $10M at the Australian box office. The film is taking a huge lead over Sinners and The Accountant in second and third place, at $9M and $4.5M, respectively. However, the film that would, and continues to be, a truly shocking success this year is A Minecraft Movie, which, although not taking $1M last week, has a cumulative total of $55.06M now. A runaway success. With it peppering down, it looks like it won’t quite make the $60M mark.
