Bayonetta 3 has finally got a release date, and I couldn’t be happier.
This Twitter account and I are eating tonight. Bayonetta 3 releases on October 28th, 2022.
Alongside a spectacular trailer showcasing a tone of gameplay, including a tank and a spider tank, a new character named Viola, a witch in training, and some wild mid-fight dance moves are, of course, on show.

Nintendo has also announced a collector’s edition that select retailers will sell alongside the My Nintendo Store. I don’t know the pricing yet, but I want it. The CE includes the game, a 200-page artbook, and three special game sleeves, which form a panoramic artwork featuring all three games in the franchise.
A physical edition of the first game will also be available later this year. The only way to get this game previously (outside of Japan) was digitally.
Unrelated, but Rhea Seehorn also got nominated for an Emmy today, so I’m not sure what else the world could give me off my wishlist right now. Bliss.
