PlayStation held its first State of Play for 2026, and it featured both a bunch of exclusive and first-party studio updates, as well as a segment devoted to upcoming games from Konami.

Kena: Scars of Kosmora

Play

Ember Labs announced a follow-up to Kena: Bridge of Spirits, this time with a more grown-up Kena, showing her fighting monsters, making friends, and riding a wolf creature.

Kena: Scars of Kosmora is set to release in 2026.

Ghost Of Yōtei Legends

Play

It was inevitable, and now Sucker Punch has revealed the multiplayer addition to Ghost of Yōtei.

Ghost of Yōtei Legends will release on March 10.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach

Play

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is coming to PC and includes all the stuff you’d be expecting, including ultrawide support.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach for PC will release on March 19.

4-Loop

A new short trailer for Pragmata showcased this upcoming game from Capcom.

To celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of Rayman, it’s being released in this new edition, including five different versions of the game and behind-the-scenes features.

Neva: Prologue

This DLC for Neva is coming soon and is a prequel telling the story of how the human and wolf met.

Yakoh: Shinobi Ops

This is a stealth four-player co-op game with supernatural creatures.

Project Windless

Based on the book series The Bird that Drinks Tears, which I proceeded to Google and discovered isn’t properly available in Australia yet, Project Windless sees you playing as a huge bird-creature, fighting a bunch of things in gameplay that looks like Dynasty Warriors games.

Star Wars Galactic Racer

Here’s a new look at Star Wars Galactic Racer, which looks like more than just a new addition to the racer series, as it seems to include a story mode.

007 First Light

Play

A new trailer for 007 First Light focuses on how much of a rebel James Bond was in his younger years.

Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2

Play

This new collection features  Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2 will release on August 27.

Darwin’s Paradox!

There’s a demo for Darwin’s Paradox! out now, which features a crossover with Metal Gear Solid, and was followed by a new look at the upcoming stealth game.

This new JRPG from Konami looks intriguing, and ticks the boxes for what fans should want to see, but we’ll need to see more on the story and world to get too excited yet.

John Wick is kicking-ass and dodging bullets in this trailer for an upcoming Untitled John Wick Game.

Marathon

Play

A new trailer for Bungie’s upcoming Marathon showed off the core basics of the game, and some of the story, while making sure everyone knows about the upcoming ‘sever slam’ between February 26 and March 2.

Marathon will launch on March 5.

PlayStation Plus

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be added to the PS Plus Game Catalogue on February 17; Tekken Dark Resurrection and Time Crisis are being added to the PS Plus Classic Catalogue, and Big Walk is going to launch on PlayStation Plus later this year.

Saros

Play

Saros looks stunning, and it builds on everything in Returnal in beautiful ways. The gameplay looks fantastic, and the story just as interesting.

Saros is releasing on April 30 for PlayStation 5.

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls

Play

A brand new trailer for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls introduced Storm and Magik to the game, making them part of this game’s X-Men team.

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls will launch on August 6.

God of War Trilogy Remake

Play

No gameplay or even images, but the first three God of War games are getting full remakes, but it’s all in early development.

God of War: Sons of Sparta

Play

If you’re looking for some God of War and Kratos right now, however, the rumours were true, and a 2.5D God of War game was announced, this time, however, playing as a young Kratos as a Spartan.
