HOW MANY AFTER-CREDITS SCENES DOES FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS CONTAIN?

Fantastic Four: First Steps contains two after-credit scenes: one that plays after the film’s title sequence and another at the very end of the credits.

ARE THEY WORTH STICKING AROUND TO WATCH?

The first one is worth sticking around for to see a tease of what’s to come in the future of the MCU. While sitting through to the end of the credits will give you a funny little sequence, it’s nothing you’ll regret missing if you need to leave the cinema quickly.

AFTER-CREDITS SCENES EXPLAINED

SPOILERS HERE

The first post-credits scene jumps ahead four years after the end of the film and sees Sue reading a book to Franklin on the coach in the Fantastic Four’s home. She disappears for a moment to grab another book and comes back to find Doctor Doom sitting down, holding his mask in one hand, seemingly talking to Franklin. With his arm outstretched, Franklin appears to be reaching in to touch his face as well. The scene plays out like it could be in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film.

The second after-credits scene is a brief gag featuring the intro to the animated Fantastic Four cartoon, which is mentioned in the movie, playing on-screen before H.E.R.B.I.E. reaches in and turns the knob to shut off the screen.

Fantastic Four: First Steps is officially in Australian cinemas on July 24 2025. Let us know what you think of the films’ after-credits scenes after you’ve checked it out yourself in the comments section below.
