'Life Is Strange 2' Teaser Connects To 'Captain Spirit'

SPOILERS FOR THE AWESOME ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN SPIRIT FOLLOW:
Life Is Strange 2 may be releasing next month but DontNod isn't in a rush to let people know what the sequel to the 2015 series will be about. They have released a teaser today, which ties nicely into The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit.
The fifty-six-second teaser is told entirely through the dash-cam of a police car belonging to Matthew, K. The officer pulls over an can be heard calling in '10-10' which apparently translates to a fight in progress. You can then hear someone yell "it's going to be okay, Daniel" before the Officer and the vehicle and thrown backwards and the trailer ends.
The teaser doesn't reveal much but does offer more fuel to the fire that Chris's neighbour seen at the end of Captain Spirit could be the kid with powers, not Chris. People found the name Daniel in the Captain Spirit game files as well.
If you explore the garage in Captain Spirit you can find a newspaper story talking about a strange altercation leaving an Officer killed and the Officer having killed someone as well. This was from a Seattle paper from about a month ago in Captain Spirits current timeline, which takes place in December 2016, with this teaser trailer taking place on October 28th, 2016. So the timeline makes sense.
So if this is that story: who did the officer kill? And who escaped? Given the '10-10' is a fight in progress, there is a minimum of three people off-screen here including the Officer.
We'll find out more on August 20th though as the teaser notes 'all will be revealed.'
