This year marks the tenth anniversary for the German-based convention GamesCom, and to celebrate they are going to kick things off with a bang featuring several 'global premieres.'

As revealed in a press release, THQ NordicUbisoft, DontNod, Koch Media and Bandai Namco will all be revealing new projects in the opening ceremony, which will be live-streamed at www.gamescom.global -- Tuesday, August 21, 6 PM AEST.

THQ Nordic will be revealing a brand new title "based on one of the publisher's established brands." While Bandai Namco will be revealing a  "brand new game from a European developer."

Some of these titles will be playable on the show floor right after for those attending the show, but either way, it'll be interesting to see what announcements are right around the corner.

Stay tuned for all the exciting announcements to come out of GamesCom this year as the event starts on Tuesday.
