Playstation Plus Games and Trophies For July 2018

Sony has released the upcoming list of games coming to PlayStation Plus for July 2018. Absolver and Heavy Rain will lead the titles available for subscribers on PS4 available, July 3rd.

You can also currently grab Black Ops 3 as a bonus Plus game until July 11th as announced during E3.

This month you will able to achieve a total of 5 Platinums, 27 Gold, 60 Silver and 96 Bronze this month. Zero Time Dilemma for the PS Vita stands out as the easiest platinum available, while Absolver is the hardest.

'Absolver is an online multiplayer combat game where players are placed behind the mask of a Prospect under control of the Guides, the new rulers of the fallen Adal Empire, who will determine your worth in joining their elite corps of Absolvers.'

We did a Review Discussion on Absolver (watch here) when it released last year, although I'd like to assume a lot of the issues we had with the game have been fixed since the release.

Absolvers platinum is entirely reliant on your skill with the game. If you're a pro at its fighting mechanics it'll be a thirty-hour plat. If you struggle with the mechanics, it'll be near impossible.

'As a child goes missing, his father tirelessly works to rescue him, while a journalist, an FBI agent, and a private detective try to identify his kidnapper known only as the "Origami Killer".'

Heavy Rains platinum can be achieved easily by following a guide. If you'd like to achieve it in the least time possible you can just use a guide from your first playthrough, or go back with the guide after finishing your first blind playthrough.

'Rediscover the craziest Chapter of Rayman, all in HD! Prepare yourself for the Hoodlum Havoc and lots of new features!'

Rayman 3 HD doesn't contain a platinum and the trophies it does contain will probably take you 12-15 hours and rely a lot on your skill level.

'Extreme Exorcism is an arena platformer where every move you make comes back to haunt you'

Extreme Exorcism doesn't contain a platinum trophy, but the majority of the trophies seem straight-forward and simple. There are reports of one of the trophies being glitched, however, which will stop you from the 100% list.

'Space Overlords allows you to create and customise your own planets, and share them with the world through cross-platform compatibility. Choose a hulking Space Overlord and decimate civilizations.'

Space Overlords has separate trophy lists for PS4 and Vita, which will allow you to get a double platinum for this game. There is no cross-save however so you will need to complete the list twice. The majority of the trophies are for smashing building on planets which can turn into a grind and with the load times on PS4 being a lot shorter, it makes the Vita version a pain.

'Nine participants awaken, trapped in an underground facility. To escape, they must play a game with deadly consequences. Who will live, and who will die? The choice is yours.'

Like the majority of visual novels, the platinum for Zero Time Dilemma can be achieved easily with a text guide and follow it through without paying attention to the story of the game. It can be boring, but it's an easy plat.
