'Destroy All Humans!' Remake Releasing In 2020
Destroy All Humans! is getting a remake published by THQ Nordic and releasing in 2020 for Xbox One and PS4. And honestly, after the SpongeBob game reveal two days ago, writing that made a lot more sense.
The game has leaked ahead of its official announcement by a couple of hours, much like last nights Darksiders reveal. None-the-less, IGN has got the trailer up, and if you were quick, Amazon UK had a listing up for the game as well as some screenshots. Assume those will all return at 3 AM AEST upon the full reveal.
Originally released for the PS2 and Xbox, Destroy All Humans!, as the name imply’s, has you destroying humans. It's basically the video game equivalent of Tim Burton's Mars Attacks! without Pierce Brosnan and co. So much so that myself and my brother would make the alien noises from Mars Attacks! while playing both this and its sequel.
The game is just a bunch of silly fun from memory and a bit of a collect-a-thon with many brains to go after and cow shenanigans to be had.
Destroy All Humans! remake is coming from Black Forrest Games who's last project was Fade To Silence, which released to mixed reviews on Steam Early Access. Prior to that they've worked on Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams and Rogue Stormers.
This wraps up THQ Nordics three days of game reveals which started with SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated and then yesterday saw Darksiders: Geneis revealed.
Assume we can all expect more on all these games coming out of E3 2019.
Check out the rather ridiculous trailer below via IGN and let us know in the comments if you played the original games and are keen for this remake.
