'Everybody's Golf VR' Announced For 2019

by Dylan Blight

Everybody’s Golf for PS4 was a great success for developer SIE Japan and Clap Handz last year, and they look to continue that success by bringing the courses to you in virtual reality.

Announced during Sony’s pre-TGS showcase, Everybody’s Golf VR will be released at some time in 2019 and allow you to swing away in VR using the Dualshock controller or PS Move.

Not much is known outside that, but the PS Blog announcement post notes the big advantages to playing in VR below:

For the first time ever in the series, players will be able to see the uneven terrain, read wind direction, and experience the nature of the golf course all with their own eyes – a 360 degree VR experience made possible by the PlayStation VR.

As long as no one launches their controller through their TV screens while playing Everybody’s Golf VR, this could be a lot of fun for everyone. I’m looking forward to learning more in the future.
