One year on from Fallout 76’s release and Human NPC characters are coming to Appalachia. Where have they been? Maybe the game will answer this, maybe it won’t. It probably doesn’t matter, but Fallout 76 is getting NPC’s among other things in some brand new FREE updates.

The ‘Wastelands’ update will see NPC settlers and raiders arrive in Fallout 76 for the first time and with them comes a new main quest line with multiple speech options of interactions with a whole bunch of new characters. Fallout 76 is starting to look like a typical Fallout game now, except online. The update will arrive this Spring in Australia.

Another update is coming called ‘Nuclear Winter’ which introduces a battle royale mode to Fallout 76. Players will fight for the title of Overseer in Fallout 51 with a burning ring of fire caused by Nukes circling around them and ever creeping closer. You’ll have to loot for weapons and tools to survive players and monsters. A ‘sneak peek’ for Nuclear Winter will be starting from June 11th for this battle royale update.

Does any of this make you want to try Fallout 76 for the first time? Maybe jump back into the game? Let us know how you feel in the comments below.
