'Final Fantasy 7 Remake' Releases In March With Midgar Only
We finally know that Final Fantasy 7 Remake will arrive on March 3rd, 2020 and we can all be excited.
As announced at Square Enix's Conference at E3 2019, the FF7 Remake is arriving early next year across, but as previously talked about, it's only part one.
The press release states:
"FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE is a re-imagining of the iconic original game that re-defined the RPG genre, diving deeper into the world and its characters than ever before. The first game in this project will be set in the eclectic city of Midgar and presents a fully standalone gaming experience that provides a great starting point to the series."
The key factor here is that the entire game will take place within Midgar. If you've played Final Fantasy 7 before, you know that Midgar wasn't a huge part of the game. In fact, it's somewhat worrisome how many parts we will have to see released before the game finds its conclusion.
We also have the full voice cast for Final Fantasy 7 Remake now.
Cloud, voiced by Cody Christian (All American, Teen Wolf)
Barret, voiced by John Eric Bentley (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Independence Day: Resurgence)
Aerith, voiced by Briana White (Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, Occupants)
Tifa, voiced by Britt Baron (GLOW)
Jessie, voiced by Erica Lindbeck (Spider-Man, Persona 5, ThunderCats Roar)
Biggs, voiced by Gideon Emery (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Teen Wolf)
Wedge, voiced by Matt Jones (Breaking Bad)
Sephiroth, voiced by Tyler Hoechlin
The game does look really good though and a brand new trailer makes it hard to not get excited.
