First Gameplay For 'Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order'

At Star Wars Celebration we had the official reveal for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and now we have the first gameplay from EA Play.

Roughly 15 minutes of gameplay was shown, with press getting to see an extra 15 minutes that takes place prior to what everyone saw during the live stream.

Cal, the protagonist of Fallen Order, is making his way through Kashyyyk — homeworld for the Wookies, as seen in Revenge of The Sith — and when he reaches the top of a structure, our first big surprise. Saw Gerrera the rebel extremist is here leading an attack on the Empire. He’s played by Forest Whitaker who took on the role for Rogue One and also the animated series, Star Wars Rebels.

Cal is here to rescue a high target Wookie, although we don’t really know why.

What follows is somewhat standard Star Wars video game stuff with Cal taking down various Stormtrooper types and some Kashyyyk bugs. The combat looks slower than The Force Unleashed, but also it’s hard to get a feel for the methodical combat Respawn is pitching with Fallen Order by just watching.

It sure does look and sound good though and I’m very keen to see more. Check it out below.

How do you feel about the gameplay? Let us know in the comments below.
