Learn What The 'Tetris Effect' Is Ahead Of The Games Release In Short Documentary

Ahead of the release of Tetris Effect for PS4 and PSVR on Friday, you should watch a short documentary about what exactly the ‘Tetris Effect’ is.
The video which is available on the Playstation Youtube channel and runs for 10 minutes speaks to many different Tetris players about Tetris and the phenomena known as ‘Tetris Effect’ or ‘Tetris Syndrome.’

If you play enough Tetris though then it won’t stop there either. You’ll find that occasionally you look down a supermarket shopping aisle, notice the way some cans are stacked, and then find yourself imagining which tetromino would best fit into the empty spaces. In some cases you might even find yourself dreaming about Tetris, or just seeing the pieces in the moments before sleep (hypnagogia).
It’s an interesting thing that happens to the human brain and Enhance, the developer of Tetris Effect, along with Sony have been using the game's title and origins as a great marketing campaign.
