There’s been an intrigue since the Nintendo Switch 2 launched last week: just how popular is this console going to be? And now Nintendo has confirmed its launch numbers, and they’re outstanding.

Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 has sold 3.5 million units in its first four days, making it the fastest-selling Nintendo hardware to date.

To put this into perspective, the Nintendo Switch sold around 2.7 million units in its first month, and the PlayStation 5 sold around 4.5 million in its first month. So, how many units will Nintendo have sold by the time it reaches the four-week mark? It’s on its way to owning that record, I think.
