The Pokémon Company initially set a “before the end of February 2026” release date for the upcoming Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, but in a surprise move, the DLC has been announced for release much earlier, on December 10.

In a new trailer for the paid DLC, we see that it focuses on an alternative world of ‘Hyperspace Lumoise,’ and also the trainer Ansha and her partner Pokémon, Hoopa.

There’s more to the world of Hyperspace Lumoise than it just looking a little bizarre; it also features hyper-strong Pokémon, whose levels are exceeding level 100, the first time this has happened in a Pokémon game. There will also be some new Mega Evolution Pokémon in this DLC, including the announced Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur.

In the trailer, we also see a bunch of returning characters from the primary campaign of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, who will continue to help you on your quest to help Lumoise City.
