Dylan’s Rating: 👎👎

At first, this seems like an average horror film set-up. The loss of a child sends the father into a chaotic state which doctors try to describe as PTSD -- but is there something more? Is he in fact being haunted? Possessed? A disease grows on from the sorrow he feels from the loss of his child?! Nope. What is happening is he apparently has a very rare form of PTSD that a secret very few around the world (I’m sure) are diagnosed with and that makes our John Clarke need to drink human blood to survive the condition.

The second half of this trailer with the introduction of the vampire elements and the title card that introduces Mischa Barton’s special appearance made me laugh. At this point the trailer had lost me, I’m sorry. Even the editing of the trailer gets worse as it tries to drill in how dramatic it is in the final moments as the viewer is left wonder -- Ummm drinking blood. Really?

Ashley’s Rating: 👍👎

This looks alright. An interesting take on vampires I guess. The first time he tastes human blood and finally has relief from his pain is a cool reveal but from there it kind of heads in a direction you completely expect. It was surprising to see Mischa Barton and the host of The Mole (Grant Bowler) in this.
