Ashley’s Rating: 👍👎

Overstuffed. That’s the first word that came to my mind watching this. It felt kinda over-edited, no shot seemed to last more than a second until towards the end of the trailer.

It seems like the film will be OK, Ethan Hawke looks good and it will be interesting seeing Chris Pratt play a villainous character (at least intentionally play). I’m oddly curious how Dane DeHaan will play the role of Billy the Kid.

DYLAN’s Rating: 👍👎

We have had a lot of movies cover Billy the Kid's story from different angles and 'The Kid' seems to be going for something kinda new, but the trailer is rather bland.

Most interesting to me is how this fares with Vincent D'Onofrio directing as his first feature, 'Don't Go in the Woods' was critically panned and also quite a weird film.

With Chris Pratt also in the film, I'd assume any future trailer would try and swing the perspective and use him as a bigger selling point -- even if his role is a small one -- but this trailer is fine, I guess.
