Australia’s homegrown streaming service Stan has signed a multi-year deal with Paramount Pictures.

Variety reports that the deal will add to Stan’s already standing line-up of partnerships with MGM, Lionsgate and Disney, although the Disney one will get interesting once Disney Plus launches in October, I’m sure.

The deal will see exclusive series and movies make their way to Stan and Australian audiences. Looking For Alaska, which is based on the novel by The Fault in Our Stars author John Green, will arrive on October 19th as an eight-part limited series. That series was made for Hulu in the U.S, but like a lot of Hulu series, will now premiere on Stan.

Paramount Pictures movie catalogue includes the massive blockbusters that are the Transformers films, the Star Trek franchise and several massive Tom Cruise affairs including Top Gun and the Mission Impossible franchise.
