Unfortunately, the game hasn’t been able to keep me invested after the story was complete.

As much as the game succeeded in charming me at times with the core characters, it’s hard to recommend this to anyone over the many other Nintendo Switch-exclusive 2D platformers.

Respawn has turned me around a complete 180 from not caring whether we had more Cal Kestis stories to wanting to meditate on the spot until the next chapter is released, and I can’t wait to see what’s next in store for the crew of The Mantis.

Infinity Ward returns with a reboot of the Modern Warfare franchise and that includes a brand new, thrilling, scary and haunting story that sees the return of some fan favourite characters from the original Modern Warfare trilogy. But what they lose amongst all of this is the addictive multiplayer that had me hooked with Black Ops IIII’s selection of modes.

All of this makes MachineGames’ latest entry into their Wolfenstein story all the odder. It’s a co-op focused game, where you’re encouraged to replay missions, pick up daily and weekly tasks and grind out for coins and exp to level up your character. It’s not a bad game, but it’s certainly an odd Wolfenstein entry.
