October is kicking off with a big PlayStation 5 release in Ghost of Yotei, and the month will also see a big release in Nintendo’s court with Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Xbox doesn’t have any exclusive per se, but they do have Keeer from Double Fine Productions, and also their marketing is set to make them the home console for Ninja Gaiden 4, even if it is a release on all platforms.
Another big release for the month, available on nearly all platforms, will be Battlefield 6, which had a massive beta and is set to be a huge release in October. In the year of indie-games-that-could-finally-release, Mina the Hollower from Yacht Club Games is also finally releasing at the back-end of October. Although not on the same level of anticipation, I am excited to play more Ball x Pit, and also jump into the Aussie game, Isopod: A Webbed Spin-Off. But the most significant release in terms of time we’ve spent reading about its upcoming release has to be Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, which, fingers crossed, seems to be finally releasing in October.
