PlayStation is kicking-off another initiative on February 24th that’ll give you a chance to win one of those real-life Platinum Trophies (my goal in life) among other things.

‘PlayStation Player Celebration’ is a global event where certain rewards will unlock for everyone when goals are met, with the ultimate prize going to one player.

You’ll need to make sure you’re registered first and then play games and earn trophies as a group to unlock. With the descriptors for both of these specifically reading:

“Every individual game you play for at least one hour (across as many sessions as you like) counts towards the goal.”

Trophies you earn in any game you play are counted – and multiplayer game Trophies count as double (up to a limit of six Trophies per day)!

STAGE ONE

  • 125k games played

  • 500k trophies earner

Reward: Exclusive PS4 static theme & PSN avatar

STAGE TWO

  • 375k games played

  • 1.5m trophies earned

Reward: Five exclusive PSN avatars

STAGE THREE

  • 675k games played

  • 2.7m trophies earned

Reward: exclusive PS4 dynamic theme

Everyone that signs up goes in for the chance to win the PlayStation kit that contains:

  • A real-life Platinum Trophy, engraved with your PSN ID

  • A PlayStation voucher for $145

  • Voucher codes for a selection of the greatest PS4 games

On March 17th at 10 PM AEST you’ll have to answer a skilled based question for your final chance to win the PlayStation kit.
