JustWatch has revealed the most-streamed movies and TV shows for July 2025.
What did you watch last month? What was your most-streamed TV series? What movie did you discover for the first time? Let me know in the comment section below.
Movies
1.) Happy Gilmore 2
Even if it only released on July 25, the lesson seems to be that the power of Adam Sandler should never be doubted. Not only did Happy Gilmore 2 top the charts for July even with less than one week of the film being available, the first film, Happy Gilmore, also made it into the top ten for July at fourth place with viewers doing a re-watch, presumably, as I know I did one.
2.) Nosferatu
Nosferatu was available to stream on both Netflix and Binge in July, adding to opportunities for viewers to check out this Robert Eggers film. It’s great, so many people are checking it out, presumably due to word-of-mouth and marketing, as, at its heart, this is a very non-commercial horror film.
3.) The Amateur
The film didn’t do that well at the Box Office here in Australia, but it seems once it’s hit Disney+ for viewers to stream at home, they’re all ready to check out the film, which stars Rami Malek as a CIA codebreaker who takes things into his own hands when his wife is killed.

TV Shows
1.) South Park
I’m not too shocked if that one episode of South Park and the news cycle that followed drew everyone in to check out what would have sent Donald Trump into a tizzy. However, it is still crazy sometimes that something that was released so close to the end of the month, with only one episode, can shoot this far to the top of the list. Nonetheless, everyone wants to see the episode that everyone was talking about.
2.) The Assassin
This new series, exclusive to Stan, follows a retired assassin who encounters her estranged son and confronts her past on a remote Greek island. I haven’t checked this one out myself, but it seems a few of you have, so is it good? Let me know!
3.)
A good month for Stan numbers as
The Hunting Wives
The Hunting Wives is on Stan as well. Interestingly, The Hunting Wives was picked up for distribution on Netflix in the U.S. This series follows a group of housewives and their circles, and the surrounding story of a dead teenage girl. It’s
