The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past has been announced as a new expansion for the game.
There was a rumour that CD Projekt Red might be working on a new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. But I wasn’t really believing it just because they’re both working on new games, and because The Witcher 3 is quite old now. Nonetheless, it’s true!
The game is being co-developed by Fools Theory, which helps me explain in my first concert how CD Projekt Red would find the time among their many other projects to work on a new expansion.

Not much else has been announced regarding the story of this new expansion, but it will still be Geralt you’re playing as, not Ciri, as the player will be in the next entry in the series.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunter – Songs of the Past is set to release on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 in 2027.
