ÆRTHLINGS has launched a new Kickstarter campaign to expand its hybrid collectibles and gaming franchise and introduce an all-new collection of characters known as the Ascension Series.
The campaign introduces 24 new species to the ÆRTHLINGS universe and will help fund new gameplay features, expanded content and a PC version of the game.
I reviewed the ÆRTHLINGS: Genesis set previously and said that:
“There’s a decent set of tools inside ÆRTHLINGS I’m keen to see expanded, though you will find yourself finding the gameplay loop to be somewhat repetitive unless you’re someone who finds resource gathering ultra-calming.“
Developer Modern Games said in a press release that Kickstarter funding will also support additional quests, new gameplay systems and expanded world-building features.
