After the Capcom Spotlight this morning, the show transitioned into the ‘Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase,’ giving new details on the game, including the upcoming second beta.

The latest look at the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds began with the newest trailer. It showcases the different aspects of the game, from fighting monsters, of course, to the game’s story, where you build relationships with characters who are dealing with the destruction of some of the bigger monsters in the game. The trailer always ends with the massive Gore Magala making its appearance.

The showcase also gave us a look at some other features, including gear, tents, and more customization that’ll make your characters feel unique to you and your personality when playing solo or with others. Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase is also getting a photo mode, but you can only pause the game in ‘Solo’ mode.

The second open beta test will be taking place between the two times below:

  • Friday, February 7th, 2025, 2:00 PM AEDT – Monday, February 10th, 2025, 1:59 PM AEDT
  • Friday, February 14th, 2025, 2:00 PM AEDT – Monday, February 17th, 2025, 1:59 PM AEDT

There are no differences between the two open bets; you can just pick which works best for your schedule.

Arkveld will be added in this new beta test, and players will get access to the training area in the base camp. Private Lobbies will be enabled, as will Online Single Player mode, where you can play solo and use SOS Flares to switch to multiplayer and call for help.

Beta save data transfers across, and the beta save files will all transfer to the full game—there is no story progression.
