New Rules Allows Games To Add More PSN Trophies

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">For a long time, PSN trophies appear to have hit a cap and some games, even though they were still producing DLC, weren't able to add any new trophies for players. Now though, it appears developers and PlayStation have got a new way around one of the PlayStation weird limitations. </p>

PSN Trophy Limits: Devs Are Sneaking In More Trophies

For a long time, PSN trophy lists seemed capped—some games kept releasing DLC but couldn’t add new trophies. Now, it looks like developers (and PlayStation) have found a workaround for one of PSN’s quirkiest limitations.

This started with a Push Square report. After reading it, Dylan dug into PSNProfiles to see what’s actually happening, then broke it down on this week’s Platinum Explosion.

We’ll keep an eye on new lists using this approach—and here’s hoping Sony eventually removes the cap altogether. (Hey, they got name changes over the line… eventually.)
