EA and DICE have announced some more information about the upcoming launch of Season 3 of Battlefield 2042, including the date the season starts, which is November 22, and it’s titled “Escalation.”
Joining Battlefield 2042 is a new specialist called Rasheed Zain, an Egyptian-born assault specialist who lost both of his legs in a battle. However, he has state-of-the-art prosthetics that have allowed him to get back onto the field. His backstory pairs with his abilities, one of which give him the fastest health regeneration in the game, thanks to his resilience. Rasheed also carries the Airburst Launcher, which allows him to flush enemies out of cover.

Three new weapons (Rorsch Mk-4 railgun, NVK-S22 double-barrel shotgun and the NVK-PI26 semi-automatic sidearm), the EMV90-T0R tank and a throwing knife are being added to the game with Season 3. There’s also going to be the addition of more vault weapons.
All of these details are paired with the recent news that Battlefield 2042 is being added to Xbox Game Pass, and changes are coming to the Speacaslits system, with Classes returning to Battlefield.
There’s, of course, a new battle pass coming to the game with cosmetics to unlock.
