The Gamescom 2023 edition of The Future Games Show was hosted by Erika Ishii and Troy Baker, featuring over an hour of trailers and news, plus reveals of 10 new games, including Tormented Souls 2, Symphonia, Tavern Keeper and more.

Here are all the trailers and news from The Futures Games Show Gamescom 2023 Edition.

STOP DEAD

Stop Dead is a fast-paced “speedrun shooter” that doesn’t give you a moment to slow down or double-think your actions.

Stop Dead is coming to PC on October 4, but if you want to check out the game now, a demo is available on Steam until August 30, and if you set the highest score, you could win a PS5 or Xbox.

OUTRAGE

This is a 32-player brawler which is coming to Steam Early Access in Autumn 2024.

STREETS OF ROGUE 2

Here’s a fresh look at tinyBuilds upcoming open-world action-packed roguelite.

SOULSLINGER: ENVOY OF DEATH

A gameplay trailer for this rogulite shows the twin-shooting FPS gameplay as you play as the last soul in limbo.

Soulslinger: Envoy of Death is coming to Steam Early Access later this year, but a demo is now available on Steam.

ETERNIGHT

A quick new trailer for Eternights, which has had its release date moved forward and will now be released on September 12 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

BLASPHEMOUS 2

Out tomorrow, August 25, a launch trailer for Blasphemous 2 showed off the dark yet pixellated Metroidvania.

PARCEL CORPS

Another silly trailer for Parcel Coprs showed some gameplay and how you’ll be able to slide and maneuver your way around objects blocking your path while also including some live-action bits for laughs.

THE GAP

A new trailer for The Gap looked just as intriguing and confusing as the last, with this memory-diving psychological thriller continuing to look intriguing.

The Gap is coming to PCs and consoles later this year.

ROBOCOP: ROGUE CITY

This trailer for RoboCop: Rogue City showcases that you’ll both be shooting enemies and investigating crime scenes in the upcoming game based on the movie franchise.

GANGS OF SHERWOOD

The co-op action adventure where you play as one of the merry men is coming to PC and consoles on October 19.

STAR TRUCKER

If you’re sick of playing trucking games that are too close to home, or you’re sick of the highways down here on earth, the upcoming Star Truck, which is launching on PC in 2024, might just be for you.

CASTLE CRAFT

This voxel-building game could tickle Minecraft fans’ fancy when it launches on PC later this year.

SPRAWL

A shadow-drop with a new trailer for Sprawl, the hardcore cyberpunk shooter, which you can buy now on Steam.

TAVERN KEEPER

An animated trailer reveals Tavern Keeper, the next game from the creators of Game Dev Tycoon, and it’s coming to PC in 2024.

AK-XOLOTL

This adorable and highly violent top-down shooter is releasing on PC and consoles on September 14.

TWIN SAILS INTERACTIVE MONTAGE

• Wantless is coming to Steam Early Access in November 2023
• News Towers is coming to Steam Early Access in November 2024
• Bloomtown will release on PC and consoles in Q2 2024

Aloft is a survival game in which you’re playing on an archipelago that is orbiting an eternal hurricane. That’s a big idea, and fortunately, there’s a demo available on Steam now to check it out yourself.

Aloft is coming to PC in 2024.

THE LAST FAITH

This gothic combination of Souslike and Metroidvania received a release date of November 2023, plus the news that a beta for the game is live now on Steam.

IT’S A WRAP

It’s a Wrap is a puzzle game in which you set up and control scenes from the director’s chair, looking to get the main character from start to finish of a level or scene without dying.

It’s a Wrap is out now on PC, and a Nintendo Switch release is coming soon.

UNDERLAB

Underlab is a sabotage game from within a submarine from the team behind Project Winter. It’s coming soon to PC and consoles, with a closed beta on its way.

VR SHOWCASE

• HellSweeper VR got a new trailer ahead of its release on PS VR2, Meta Quest, Steam VR and Vieport on September 21.
• The Pirate Queen is based on a true story and executive produced and voiced by Lucy Liu. This VR puzzle adventure is coming to Quest 2 and Steam VR in early 2024.

• Vertigo 2 is coming to PS VR2 on October 24, following great reviews on Steam VR.

• Islanders: VR Edition is a minimalist city builder that is launching on Meta Quest on September 28.

• Tin Hearts VR version is coming soon to PC VR and PS VR2.

• Davigo is a cross-reality game where VR and PC players battle it out, VR players as giants and PC players as normal-sized humans, and it’s launching later in 2023.

PARK BEYOND

After releasing last month, there’s still plenty of content on its way to Park Beyond with Patch 2.0 and the “Beyond Extreme” DLC, which are both releasing on September 29.

TINY GLADE

This is a very relaxing trailer for Tiny Glade, a game about building castles, and the game will be released on PC in 2024.

PACIFIC DRIVE

A new trailer for Pacific Drive dives into the story of this car-roguelike and the chaos that will ensue when travelling across the Olympic Exclusion Zone.

Pacific Drive will release in early 2024 on PC and PS5.

WARHAVEN

A new trailer for Nexon’s upcoming 16v16 fantasy brawler showcases the intense multiplayer battles.

You can play Warhaven when it launches on September 21 for PC.

WARHAMMER AGE OF SIGMAR: REALMS OF RUIN

Here’s a new trailer for the intense tactical combat you’ll be taking on in Realms of Ruin, which it launches on PC and consoles on November 17.

ABIOTIC FACTOR

You and your friends can team up in Abiotic Factor to escape a doomed facility when the game launches on PC in 2024.

PHANTOM SPARK

Go very fast in Phantom Spark, a future-fantasy racer that looks somewhat inspired by Wipeout.

Phantom Spark is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch.

And now for something different: a musical puzzle platformer with a very vibrant art style and what looks to be somewhat challenging platforming. It’s coming to PC and consoles in 2024.

DOME-KING CABBAGE

Talking about different-looking things, here’s Dome-King Cabbage. It’s a visual novel set in the world of a monster-collecting RPG, but the trailer doesn’t give those vibes. It still looks very intriguing.

ASTRONIMO

Here’s a fresh trailer for platform puzzler Astronimo, which is coming to Steam Early Access on September 27.

HEXXEN: HUNTERS

This tactical action RPG set during the 18th century looked very intriguing and was a fresh reveal during The Future Games SHow.

Hexxen: Hunters is coming to PC in 2024.

Here’s a fresh look at Helskate following its reveal earlier this year during Day of the Devs. It’s basically Tony Hawk Pro Skater combined with a roguelike.

DEATHGROUND

Run from all the dinosaurs and try to survive in Deathground, a dino-survival horror game coming to PC soon.

TORMENTED SOULS 2

Not wanting to end the show with just one horror game, Tormered Souls 2 was announced with Caroline Walker, the first game’s protagonist, returning for another round of old-school survival horror.
