There’s slime, the original Ghostbusters, the new cast and a new army of ghosts in the first official trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.

In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, a new cast of young heroes, plus Paul Rudd, were introduced, and in Frozen Empire, we’re combining the new and the old in the classic location of New York City. This looks like as close to an ACTUAL third film that hardcore fans could be after, and a sequel to Afterlife at the same time.

Synopsis: In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.
