The first expansion for Pokémon Sword/Shield was just released, but we also just got word of an upcoming massive raid battle that will also be starting tomorrow.

Zeraora Max Raid Battle challenge will take place from June 17th – 28th PDT. But not only will you be able to challenge the mighty fighter — you cannot capture it — you may also be able to get a shiny Zeraora.

In fact, everyone can get shiny if we all work together. If one million trainers defeat Zeraora in Max Raid Battles in the allocated days, every trainer, even if they didn’t help, will be able to redeem a shiny Zeraora.

To redeem shiny Zeraora (if one million are defeated):

• You must move a Pokémon between Pokémon HOME and Pokémon Sword/Shield during the event.
• Then a shiny Zeraora will be gifted to you via the mobile version of the Pokémon HOME app.
• You will then be able to transfer it into your Pokémon Sword/Shield game.

So let’s get to battling trainers and get that SHINY ZERAORA!
