Stan has debuted the trailer for The Portable Door, which will debut on the streaming platform on April 7th, the same day as the U.K. and U.S.
The film stars Patrick Gibson as Paul Carpenter and Sophie Wilde as Sophie Pettingel, two interns who discover that their bosses, played by Christoph Waltz and Sam Neil at the mysterious J.W Wells & Co are slowly meddling with the world of magic.

Based on the series of books by Tom Holt, Australian director Jeffrey Walker (Stan’s series, The Commons) is bringing the fantasy series to life with a screenplay by Leon Ford (Griff the Invisible). The film is a collaborative production with A Jim Henson Company and Story Bridge Films, with finance and distribution coming from Sky, Stan, Madman Entertainment, MEP Capital, Fulcrum Media Finance and Arclight Films International. Screen Queensland and Screen NSW provided development and production support, and The Portable Door was filmed in Queensland, Australia.
