One of the year’s best co-op games, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is currently free to play on Steam over the weekend.

If you’re a fan of Left For Dead and haven’t found a game to itch that co-op melee-action, Vermintide 2 could be the answer.

If your biggest barrier to entry is that it’s based in the Warhammer universe, don’t even worry about it. Just pick it up as any other fantasy game, pick your class and kill the hordes of enemies — there is barely a story after the initial set-up.
