The Pokémon Presents February stream was expected to bring some big announcements, as it’s the 30th Anniversary of Pokémon, and it delivered with the announcement of the 10th Generation of Pokémon games, which will be coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch 2.
That’s not all that was revealed during the Pokémon Presents, of course, so here’s everything that was announced.
Game Music Collection: Game Boy Jukebox
The first announcement was a music player that looks like the original Game Boy, and it comes with 45 separate cartridges, each playing a different song.
This is a Pokémon Centre exclusive, however, so you’d have to find someone to import it through to Australia if you were after it.
PokémonXP and the 2026 Pokémon World Championships
A video with some information on the 2026 Pokémon World Championships then confirmed again that the main game at this year’s championships will be Pokémon Champions, alongside Pokémon TCG, Pokémon GO and Pokémon Unite events.
Information on the first ‘PokemonXP’ event was also shared, which will take place in San Francisco at the same time as the World Championships.
Pokémon GO
Pokémon GO is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year, as crazy as that is to think about, and a couple of events were announced.
March 7-9, a three-day event is adding ‘most’ Pokémon into the game at the same time, it seems. There’s going to be some special events in the lead-up to that as well.
Pokémon TCG
A teaser video for the trading card game announced that there will be a simultaneous worldwide release of something TCG later this year.
Pokémon Masters EX
Three new sync pairs are coming to Pokémon Masters EX. Red & Pikachu, Florian & Ogerpon, and then Juliana & Terapagos.
Pokémon Cafe ReMix
New Pokémon from the Kanto region can be added to the game, and there are more chef outfits being added.
Pokémon Sleep
Mew Research has been added into the game.
Pokémon Unite
Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are being added to Pokémon Unite, and a tease of what’s to come for Unite was also shared.
Pokémon TCG Pocket

There are limited-time missions in the game now to celebrate the 30th Anniversary.
Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness
The Nintendo GameCube game, Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, is being added to the Nintendo Switch 2 for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers.
Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen
This one we already knew about, but Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen are out now for Nintendo Switch. These are the GBA games, not full remasters or remakes, but it was confirmed that you’ll be able to transfer Pokémon from these games into Pokémon Home.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC
Mega Garchomp Z is being added into the game for ownership of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC.
It was also confirmed that soon you’ll be able to send Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Z-A to Pokémon Home, and that you’ll be able to send ‘select Pokémon’ from Home into Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
Pokémon Pokopia
The next Pokémon game isn’t far away, with the release of Pokémon Pokopia coming on March 5. This new trailer reveals Stereo Rotom and a Greedent Chef, and showcases multiplayer features like exploring other towns or inviting them into yours.
Pokémon Champions
A soft release date for Pokémon Champions was confirmed as April 2026 for Nintendo Switch, and the mobile version later in 2026.
Pokémon Winds & Pokémon Waves
This Pokémon Presents ended with our first look and reveal of Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves, the 10th Generation Pokémon games, which will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
The trailer showcased islands with diverse environments and even ventured deep into the sea, revealing some rather beautiful biomes.
We also got introduced to the starter Pokémon for this generation, Browt, Pombom, and Gecqua.
Let me know what you thought of any of these new announcements and trailers in the comments section below.
