Yes, one of the most request Pokémon games is finally coming back. New Pokémon Snap is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch and during today’s Pokémon Presents presentation we got our first look at the game.

New Pokémon Snap is described as being “inspired by the classic N64 game, Pokémon Snap,” so this is neither a proper sequel nor a remake of the original game, but it definitely has the main component that makes up the game as was shown in the trailer and that’s taking pictures of Pokémon in the wild.
“In New Pokémon Snap, you’ll explore deserts, jungles, and more as you photograph fan-favourite Pokémon and discover never-before-seen Pokémon expressions and behaviours.”
