The makers of Vader Immortal has announced their next Star Wars project to be Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge. The project is currently in development with collaboration once again with Oculus Studios and ILMxLAB and slated to release in 2020.

In case the name isn’t a giveaway, yes this experience does tie-in the Star Wars theme park that recently opened in California and Florida, but it is not a virtual tour. Much like the parks settings itself with the Star Wars universe, this game shall take place between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.

Vicki Dobbs Beck from ILMxLAB is excited about the project getting into fans hands later this year, as she explained on StarWars.com

“This action-packed adventure not only speaks to the promise of connected and complementary experiences by extending the lore around Black Spire Outpost, it represents another meaningful step in ILMxLAB’s quest to transition  from storytelling — one-way communication — to story living, where you’re inside a world making consequential choices that drive your experience forward.”

I’m excited to get my virtual hands into this later in 2020, are you? Let me know in the comments below.
