Summer Game Fest 2024 is nearly here, with once again Geoff Keighley’s keynote show leading the show, but with many others, including Xbox, Nintendo, Ubisoft and more, having their showcases. 

In previous years, yes, we have referred to this period as ‘Non-E3’; however, I want to state that as far as we’re concerned. E3 is officially dead, and Keighley has won the month of June regarding video game press events. 

Let’s get into it; here are all the Summer Game Fest 2024 showcases.

Guerrilla Collective Online Showcase 2024

The Guerrilla Collective is usually a good taste-tester for indie games that will appear in the events following throughout the coming month. The show will also be on-site in Los Angeles for press and industry members to attend and check out some of the games on the show.

Future Games Show Summer Showcase

The Summer (Winter for us down under) showcase will feature Roger Clark (Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2) and Britt Baron (Tifa Lockhart in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Justine in Netflix’s GLOW) as the hosts. There will be over 40 games on the show, with appearances from Behaviour Interactive / Supermassive Games, Black Salt Games, NetEase Games and Secret Mode.

[UPDATED] Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct

[Update 1:] Xbox has gone ahead and revealed that the direct that will follow the Xbox Games Showcase will focus on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This game will be the first in the BLOPS series since Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Xbox is following up their Xbox Games Showcase with a deep dive into a redacted game. It’s all-but-confirmed that this is the latest Call of Duty game at this point. But we’ll have to wait for the official confirmation.

UploadVR will return for their mid-year showcase, which they’ve said should be around the last week of June. As always, it’ll highlight new and already-announced VR games.

THQ Nordic Showcase

The THQ Nordic Showcase will once again feature a pre-show by HandyGames before THQ takes over. The show, according to the company, will feature news on Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, Gothic 1 Remake, and Titan Quest II, as well as surprises yet to be revealed.
