Australia and New Zealand are finally getting their own Pokémon Center store. You know that online store in the U.S., Canada, and the UK that imports official Pokemon gear and where you can buy exclusive merch, cards, and very large plush Pokemon?

I’ve always been jealous of the limited edition gear available through the Pokémon Center over the past ten years. Sometimes, I’ve found a way to get my hands on things using a diversion postal address, but it can be costly. And having a local option is only going ot make life easier.

You can buy things like this 34″ Lapras. I dunno what else to tell you, but I need stuff like this to be available to me.

Cindy Ruppenthal, senior director of Pokémon Center and e-commerce at The Pokémon Company International, said:

“Since its initial launch in the U.S. nearly 10 years ago, Pokémon Center has become a fan-favorite destination for Trainers looking to engage with the Pokémon brand and express their fandom in ways that suit their unique interests. We remain committed to delivering a diverse selection of high-quality Pokémon merchandise to as many Trainers as possible, and following successful expansions into Canada and the U.K.are continuing this mission by bringing our e-commerce offerings to Australia and New Zealand. We are incredibly grateful to the community for their continuous support and love for Pokémon Center, allowing us to expand into additional regions and bring the joy of Pokémon to more Trainers around the world.”

The Pokemon Company has said that the Pokémon Center will “soft launch” in Australia and New Zealand soon
