A new Predator film is in the works from Dan Trachtenberg, who helmed the very good 2022 film Prey and may star Elle Fanning. 

The new film is reportedly titled ‘Badlands’, and Trachtenberg is reteaming with Prey scribe Patrick Aison.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Elle Fanning is in talks to star in the film, which apparently won’t be set in the past like Prey, which starred Amber Midthunder as a Comanche woman in the late 1700s, but in the future.

The bigger question for me and I’m sure a lot of other fans of Prey will be if this new Predator film will get sent to cinemas or straight to Hulu/Star as was the case in 2022.
