Blumhouse Games promises to be the home of horror videos games

Blumhouse Productions has announced Blumhouse Games, which will be revealing what they’re all about during Summer Games Fest on Saturday. What are they all about? Well, they’ve said they’ll be the “home of horror video games.” 

It’ll be interesting to see if it’s a focused development process with Blumhouse bringing in teams to work on their IP, Blumhouse publishing horror games from other creators, original IP horror games made in-house, or a combination of all of the above.

Blumhouse Productions is currently the biggest horror movie and TV production company in the world, releasing an average of 10 movies a year since 2020. Recent releases include The Exorcist: Believer, M3GAN, Halloween Ends, The Black One, Sick and the adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy’s.
