Via Vision Entertainment has announced its upcoming limited edition movie releases for September 2025.
For September, the movies are all classics in one way or another. With both Frankenstein and The Invisible Man, the 1930s films are receiving limited edition releases, as well as the final film in the 1970s Sinbad series, Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger. All three of these releases are on Blu-ray and feature 3D lenticular hard cases, as well as art cards. On the discs themselves, there’s a hefty amount of features and other bonus features across the three different films.

Frankenstein (1931) – Blu-ray Limited Edition 3D Lenticular Hardcase + Art Cards
Boris Karloff is the screen’s most memorable creature in the story of Dr. Frankenstein, who tampers with life and death when he pieces together salvaged body parts to create a human monster.
Based on Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel, this staple of classic horror was directed by James Whale, causing a sensation on release and reinventing the genre for decades to come.

The Invisible Man (1933) – 2-Disc Blu-ray Limited Edition 3D Lenticular Hardcase + Art Cards
Claude Rains delivers a remarkable performance in his screen debut as a mysterious doctor who discovers a serum that makes him invisible. Covered by bandages and dark glasses, Rains arrives at a small English village and attempts to hide his amazing discovery. But the same drug which renders him invisible slowly drives him to commit acts of unspeakable terror.
Based on H.G. Wells’ classic novel and directed by the master of macabre, James Whale, The Invisible Man not only fueled a host of sequels but features some special effects that are still imitated today.

Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (1977) – Blu-ray Limited Edition 3D Lenticular Hardcase + Art Cards
The final instalment of Ray Harryhausen’s Sinbad trilogy, this Technicolor masterpiece features remarkable special effects and exciting mythological adventure, starring Patrick Wayne, Jane Seymour, and Margaret Whiting.
Sinbad, daring sailor and Prince of Baghdad, sets sail towards Charnak, seeking permission from Prince Kassim to wed his sister, Farah. But Sinbad discovers that Kassim has been placed under a spell by their fiendish stepmother, Zenobia. To break the wicked spell, Sinbad must set forth on a journey unlike any ever traveled. Awaiting him on this perilous voyage is an assortment of beasts beyond one’s wildest imagination. Among the creatures encountered are the Minoton, a bronze colossus, a giant troglodyte, a sabre-toothed tiger, and an “almost human” baboon. The incredible, animated special effects by Ray Harryhausen will keep you spellbound as you sail with this Sinbad classic.
