Charity Stream: Great Games Done Slow with the Explosion Network
The Explosion Network is proud to take part in ‘Great Games Done Slow‘ in support of CheckPoint.
‘CheckPoint is a charity that connects mental health resources with video games and technology.
Their mission is to raise awareness of mental health issues, help those in need, and to reduce stigma.’

You can donate to the campaign at any time and help us reach our goal of $400 in support of mental health and wellbeing.

All members of the Explosion Network will be taking turns and playing games together over a 24 hour period from 12 PM the 16th of September till 12 PM the 17th of September playing a variety of games.

Milestones:
Compared to our Extra Life stream last year, we tried to make the milestones more in-line with the theme this year and not do anything crazy. We still have a couple slots we could fill here, so if you have any suggestions, be sure to let us know.
$50 – Ash Watches A Horror Movie
Ash will watch whatever horror movie is decided via a poll system on our Twitter and Facebook. He’ll then do a special ‘Review Discussion‘ for the movie live on our Twitch channel and will be available VOD after.
$100 – Nick Streams Whatever You Want For ‘Nonsensical Wednesdays’
Nick will stream whatever game you decide he should play for an upcoming ‘Nonsensical Wednesday.’ The game will be decided via a poll system on our Twitter and Facebook.
$150 – Dylan ‘The Fast & Furious’ Stream
Dylan will set up a live-stream of the first ‘Fast & Furious’ film where he will commentate it from start to finish. You won’t be able to watch the film on screen, but will be able to sync up with him and live or later when it’s available VOD. If we reach this we’ll also
$200 – Ciaran Does Live ELN at PAX 2018
Ciaran will record a live ‘Early Late Night’s’ straight from the heart of Melbourne the Friday night of PAX 2018.
$250 – Celebratory ‘Our Favourite Games’ Stream
The Explosion Network will spend a day switching out as they each play for several hours the game they consider their personal favourite.
$400 – 12-Hours More
The Explosion Network will do a bonus 12-Hour stream in the coming week with the date TBD upon requirements met.
