8BitDo unveiled a brand new Arcade Controller range, which looks preety snazzy.

The 8BitDo Arcade Controller range has been announced and should be exciting for fighting game fans. It’s expected to be released in North America in July and August, and in Europe and Australia, it would presumably be around the same time. Two variations will be available: a Nintendo Switch and PC standard version, and an officially licensed Xbox version that works with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

Here’s a small breakdown of features and specs on the 8BitDo Arcade Controller:

  • Wired or wireless options (2.4G connection, with included adaptor, and 20-40 hours of use)
  • 1.6cm thick
  • eSports-ready features like SOCD (Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Directions)
  • Programable buttons
  • RGB button lighting on the Xbox model

The standard version of the Arcade Controller is expected to retail for €89.99 / £74.99 (about $156 AUD), and the officially licensed Xbox version is expected to retail for €99.99 / £84.99 (about $175 AUD).
