8BitDo Ultimate 3E Controller Launches In October With TMR Joysticks

8BitDo has announced its latest Xbox and PC controller, with the Ultimate 3E launching on October 23.

8BitDo describes the Ultimate 3E as its most advanced controller yet, introducing Tunnelling Magnetoresistance (TMR) joysticks alongside the Hall Effect triggers found in several of the company’s previous controllers.

The big addition here is customisation. The controller features a magnetic faceplate and allows players to swap the ABXY module between silicone membrane and tactile micro-switch options. It includes different D-pads, and the analogue sticks can also be swapped for different heights and caps.

Find out more about the 8BitDo Ultimate 3E, which launches on October 23, 2026, on their website, with pre-orders now open in Europe and the UK at €139.99 / £119.99. There’s currently no Australian pricing or availability.
