The Nominees for the 92nd Academy Awards have been announced by John Cho and Issa Rae at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

Joker lead the pack with 11 nominations, including Best Direct, Best Actor and Best Score, with The Irishman, 1917 and Once Upon a Time…In Hollywood each earning 10. Jojo Rabbit, Little Women, Marriage Story and Parasite each earned six nominations each.

I’m happy to see Rian Johnson receive a Best Original Screenplay nomination for Knives Out and breakout actress Florence Pugh up for Best Supporting Actress for Little Women. Disappointed Taron Egerton and Awkwafina missed out on acting nominations for Rocketman and The Farewell, especially after winning at the Golden Globes, and Jennifer Lopez who was stunning in Hustlers. Genuinely surprised Frozen II is not nominated for best Animated Feature Film.

Let us know who your snubs and surprises are and who you think is going to win.
