The September 2025 State of Play from PlayStation delivered a bunch of new trailers that included our first look at both Saros and Marvel’s Wolverine, as well as plenty in between.

Here are all the trailers and news from the State of Play.


Saros

Play

The State of Play kicked off with five minutes of gameplay from Saros, showcasing the evolution of gameplay and storytelling seen in Housemarque’s previous game, Returnal. It’s a fast-paced third-person shooter, with a dark story and a permanent progression system for its roguelike structure.

Saros will release on March 20, 2026.

Zero Parades

Play

The first proper gameplay for Zero Parades was shown off in a brand-new trailer for the next game from ZA/UM.

Zero Parades is coming in 2026.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Play

Another Microsoft game is coming to PlayStation, and it will also receive support for the PS VR2.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is scheduled for release for PS5 on December 8, 2024.

Battlefield 6

Play

A new epic trailer for Battlefield 6 showcased an intense campaign featuring multiple characters and drama, along with explosive action.

Deus Ex Remastered

Play

Aspyr has remastered the original Deus Ex, adding enhanced visuals and updated controls.

Deux Ex Remastered is releasing on February 5, 2025.

Halloween: The Game

Play

Illfonic has shown off some gameplay for their new horror movie, an asymmetrical multiplayer-focused game based on the classic slasher franchise from John Carpenter. You’ll be playing as either civilians or Michael Myers.

Halloween: The Game is still a while away and will release on September 8, 2026.

Last Epoch – Orobyss

Play

The upcoming expansion for Last Epoch will launch on PS5 on the same day the game is released on PS5 next year.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Play

A new trailer for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origins showed off the combat, characters and mini-game activities you can take part in.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will release on January 28, 2026.

Sonic Racing: Crossworld

Play

The game may be out tomorrow, but there’s still time for news: A Mega Man DLC pack is coming next year with Mega Man and Proto Man, as well as a Doctor Wily-inspired track.

Nioh 3

Play

A trailer for Nioh 3 has shared its upcoming release date for early next year.

Nioh 3 will be released on February 6, 2025.

Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered

Play

A remaster of the third Dynasty Warriors game has been released.

March 19, 2026.

Code Vein II

Play

If you thought we were only getting one souls-like in this State of Play, you’d be wrong. Here’s a trailer for the anime souls-like, which is getting a sequel early next year.

Code Vein II is scheduled for release on January 30, 2026.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles

Play

A new trailer for Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles highlighted some of its new features ahead of its release next week.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles is releasing on September 30, 2025.

Let It Die Inferno

Play

The next game in the Let It Die series is a PvEvP where you look to loot and extract. 

Let It Die Inferno is set to release on December 3, 2025.

Chronoscript: The Endless End

Play

A new theme has emerged over the past couple of years, and it seems to be games set in books. Chronoscript: The Endless End is the next instalment. This is a dark fantasy game with a fantastic-looking art style and what appears to be Metroidvania-inspired gameplay.

Crimson Desert

Play

Will be released on March 19, 2025.

Pulse Elevate

Play

Desktop speakers have been announced by PlayStation that work with PlayStation Link to make them very portable. They’ll come in white and black and be available in 2026.

PlayStation Plus

Play

Alan Wake II, Goat Simulator and Cocoon are the PS Plus Essential games for October, and The Last of Us Part II Remastered is coming to the Extra/Deluxe library. For those looking for some PS Plus Classics, Tekken 3, Soul Calibur 3, and Lara Croft – Tomb Raider Anniversary will be coming as well.

Gran Turismo 7: Spec III Update

Play

This new major update will add eight new vehicles, a new circuit experience, a data logger feature and more.

DualSense – God of War 20th Anniversary

Play

A new limited-edition God of War DualSense controller was announced.

Marvel’s Wolverine

Play

Insomniac Games shared our first proper look at Marvel’s Wolverine, and it appears to be a violent and bloody game. It was also shared that Liam McIntyre, known for his work on the Spartacus TV series, is the actor playing Logan/Wolverine in the game.

Marvel’s Wolverine is set to release in 2026.
