Imprint Films has announced its latest wave of Limited Edition Hardbox releases for August.
The lineup includes a second collection dedicated to the filmmaking duo of Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, as well as new collections for Stanley Kubrick and Billy Wilder. There’s also a premium new edition of The Misfits starring Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable.

The Cinema of Powell & Pressburger – Collection Two (1942 – 1956)
Imprint continues its celebration of legendary filmmaking partnership Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger with Collection Two, a 12-Disc 4K UHD + Blu-ray Hardbox featuring seven acclaimed films.
Authored and encoded by Fidelity in Motion, the collection includes two worldwide 4K UHD debuts alongside several of the duo’s most celebrated classics.

- I Know Where I’m Going! (1945)
- The Red Shoes (1948)
- The Small Back Room (1949) – Worldwide first on 4K UHD

Directed By… Stanley Kubrick (1953 – 1957)
Explore the formative years of one of cinema’s greatest directors with this 4K UHD + Blu-ray Hardbox collecting Stanley Kubrick’s first four feature films.
Each film has been restored in 4K, with authoring and encoding by Fidelity in Motion, while the collection also includes hours of brand-new special features, including exclusive audio commentaries from producer and Kubrick collaborator James B. Harris, who co-founded Harris-Kubrick Pictures Corporation with the director in 1955.

Directed By… Billy Wilder (1945 – 1959)
Imprint shines a spotlight on another Hollywood legend with this 4K UHD + Blu-ray Hardbox dedicated to acclaimed filmmaker Billy Wilder.
The collection features three of Wilder’s most celebrated films alongside an in-depth documentary exploring his remarkable career.
Included titles:
- The Lost Weekend (1945)
- Stalag 17 (1953)
- Some Like It Hot (1959)
- Billy Wilder Speaks (2006)
The collection includes a Hardcover Booklet and is limited to 1,500 copies.
The Misfits (1961)
Directed by John Huston and written by Arthur Miller, The Misfits remains one of the defining dramas of Hollywood’s Golden Age.
Starring Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe in their final screen appearances, the film follows a recently divorced woman who falls for an ageing cowboy while navigating the changing American West.
Imprint’s release presents the film in a Limited Edition 4K UHD + Blu-ray Hardbox, complete with a Hardcover Booklet.
Like the rest of the August lineup, this edition is strictly limited to 1,500 copies.
All four Limited Edition Hardbox releases are limited to 1,500 copies each, with pre-orders opening on Wednesday, July 15.
