Imprint Films has announced its upcoming releases for September 2023, which are now available for pre-order.
Imprint is bringing six films and a classic TV series to Blu-ray in September. From the war epic Cross of Iron to the cult classic Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia, more than a few genres are covered in this month’s releases from Imprint Films.

From visionary director Sam Peckinpah (The Wild Bunch, Major Dundee) comes a devastating war epic starring Academy Award winner James Coburn (The Magnificent Seven, The Great Escape) and Academy Award nominee James Mason (North By Northwest, Lolita).
Limited edition 3-Disc set presented on high-definition Blu-ray, and for the first time in Australia on 4K UHD. Packed with special features including a Grindhouse Version of the film, from a NEW scan of a vintage German 35mm theatrical print, presenting an authentic 70’s cinema experience.

BRING ME THE HEAD OF ALFREDO GARCIA (1974) – IMPRINT COLLECTION #251
Sam Peckinpah’s cult classic Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia comes to high-definition Blu-ray for the first time in Australia. Starring Warren Oates (The Wild Bunch, Stripes) and Isela Vega, this gritty, violent neo-western has become a cult classic.
It was awarded four stars from Roger Ebert on release (his highest rating), and writing about it again in 2001, he described the film as “extraordinary, a true and heartfelt work by a great director who endured despite, or perhaps because of, the demons that haunted him”.

With his dashing good looks and irresistible charm, George Peppard became one of the most iconic actors of the 1960s.

P.J. (1968) – Private eye P.J. Detweiler is reluctant to protect the mistress of a millionaire from attacks by his client’s wife and greedy family. In truth, P.J. is walking into a deadly intrigue in which he is to play a central part.
Pendulum (1969) – Cynical Washington, DC, police captain Frank Matthews risked his life to catch a young rapist and murderer. But the psychopath is set free when a civil liberties’ attorney proves to the Supreme Court that Matthews never read the killer his rights. When Matthews’ wife is found murdered alongside her lover, and he becomes the prime suspect, Matthews decides his best option is to capture the real killer himself.
The Executioner (1970) – Worldwide first on Blu-ray! – When a covert operation in Vienna goes awry, British Intelligence operative John Shay suspects his colleague, Adam Booth, may be a double agent. Appointing himself executioner, Shay kills Booth and then assumes his identity to obtain conclusive evidence that Booth was a traitor.
Newman’s Law (1974) – When a hard-nosed LA cop is booted from duty after being falsely accused of extortion, he goes rogue to investigate an organised crime case, uncovering a conspiracy that might extend to the highest levels of his own department.

Based on beloved author Ray Bradbury’s iconic book of the same name, The Martian Chronicles stars Rock Hudson, joined by a star-studded cast including Darren McGavin, Bernadette Peters, Roddy McDowall, Fritz Weaver, Barry Morse, and Maria Schell.
On Blu-ray for the first time in Australia, this Limited Edition 2-Disc set is housed in a premium 3D Lenticular Hardcover Slipcase.
