Terrifier 4 will be the last film in the series and give fans the backstory to Art the Clown.

Director of the Terrifier series Damien Leone announced on X that he is working on the script for Terrifier 4 currently, which he is saying will be the “most epic, thrilling, nasty, horrifying, emotional and utterly satisfying conclusion [to the series.]”

Spoiler For Terrifier 3 Below

Terrifier 3 ended with Gabriella, Sienna’s cousin, falling into a hole leading to hell. So, we are presumably going to hell—quite literally—in the next film, as Sienna will be trying to rescue her cousin. Art the Clown is still out there, however, as the film ends with him boarding a bus in disappointment with the night’s events.
