JUNE 2

• Relative Secrets [Acorn TV Original Series]

An all-new unscripted series hosted by acclaimed actress and Harry Wild star Jane Seymour (Live and Let Die, East of Eden, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman). Part true crime, part genealogy, each suspenseful episode investigates an everyday American family’s darkest mystery, aiming not only to solve it but to explore how it continues to shape the family today. With colourful characters, rich cultural context, and dramatic twists and turns, each story connects an American family to their UK heritage. Along the way, we meet charismatic heroes and chilling villains — from a 99-year-old WWII veteran haunted by the belief that his absence led to his grandmother’s murder, to the daughter of a serial killer fighting to reclaim her identity, to a mother who abandoned her children to start a secret new life. Jane Seymour guides the journey, while archaeologist Natasha Billson (The Great British Dig) leads the on-the-ground investigation in each episode.

• Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kuin Gentosho [HIDIVE – English Dub Premiere, New Episodes Every Wednesday]

In the Edo period, a shrine maiden known as Itsukihime served the mountain village of Kadono. Jinta, a wandering orphan who arrived in the village with his younger sister Suzune, grows up to become her guardian. When a mysterious demon speaks to Jinta of the distant future and the rise of a Demon God, he ventures into the forest to confront the threat. Thus begins an epic supernatural historical fantasy that spans from the Edo to Heisei periods. As Jinta battles demons across the centuries, he wrestles with the true meaning of wielding a sword. Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho is directed by Kazuya Aiura, written by Deko Akao, with character design by Taro Ikegami and production by Yokohama Animation Laboratory.

Mama June is back and undergoing the most dramatic total body transformation ever. After a series of extensive plastic surgeries and intense workouts, she’s ready to debut a shocking new look that’s sure to stun the world!

• The Feud [Acorn TV Exclusive Mini-Series]

Emma (Jill Halfpenny), her husband John (Rupert Penry-Jones), and their daughter lead an apparently idyllic life on Shelbury Drive. They share a close bond with their friendly neighbours, Sonia (Amy Nuttall) and Alan (Ray Fearon), and have a soft spot for the eccentric older couple, Derek (James Fleet) and Barbara (Tessa Peake-Jones), whose son mysteriously vanished years ago. Across the street, oddball Nick (Alex Macqueen) keeps a watchful eye on everyone through his CCTV cameras, adding a slightly unnerving edge to the otherwise peaceful neighbourhood. But when Emma makes the seemingly harmless decision to build a kitchen extension, her world begins to unravel. • Comic Book Men: Series 2-4 [New Series To Library]

Executive produced by Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy), this reality series follows the antics inside Smith’s comic shop, Secret Stash. Staff and customers alike geek out over mind-blowing pop culture artifacts and the fascinating legends behind them. Behind the counter are moody manager Walt, uber-nerd Mike, career slacker Bryan, and Ming — the shop’s go-to whipping boy. As the team buys, sells, and uncovers the treasures of the comic collecting world, they share all the juicy details with Kevin through their outrageous podcast, which is woven throughout the series.

• Inside [Acorn TV Exclusive Series]

A gritty and realistic series set within the harsh confines of a contemporary UK prison. Based on testimonies from real-life prisoners and prison guards, the series explores the complex interplay between four central characters on both side of the law: Kit, a ruthless gangster whose arrival will shake the already fragile balance of the unit; Barry a small-time drug dealer; Elin, a dedicated female prison officer; and George, a privileged young man with an addiction.

JUNE 25

• I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? [HIDIVE – English Dub Premiere]

To protect an ordinary businessman, Tsukasa Atsumi, from demons, a genius kunoichi named Shizuri Ideura signs a master-servant contract with him under the condition that she lives with him. Despite her cool and composed demon-fighting persona, Shizuri is actually an otaku NEET who spends all her time playing video games. Spoiled by Tsukasa, she settles into a lazy cohabitation life — until a group of quirky kunoichi begin to gather around them… I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? is directed by Hisashi Saito, written by Takashi Aoshima, and produced by Quad.

• DI Ray [New Series To Library]

DI Rachita Ray (Parminder Nagra) is thrust into another sensitive and high-profile case — this time, investigating the double homicide of Frank Chapman, the notorious head of an organised crime family, and Megan Cutts, an innocent nurse caught in the crossfire. Their deaths ignite racial tensions across the city, putting Rachita in a race against time to uncover the truth at the heart of the case — before the Chapman family take revenge and an all-out gang war erupts on the streets.
